NOTE:  Although the case resembles the first Lone Eagle watch, this model predates release of the Lone Eagle in 1927, and is, therefore, believed to be the earlier Conqueror model.  However, it should be noted that the corner design on this example does not match the corner design shown in the Conqueror advertisements.  In fact, I have never seen any watch bearing the engraving design shown in the Conqueror ads.  Has an example of that design simply not surfaced, or did Bulova change the design on the watches but not in the advertisements?  It's one of many remaining Bulova mysteries.
