NOTES:    I bought this watch thinking it was another example of the Edwin (1931 Edwin), but this example differs from the watch I have identifed by that name in that it has fixed lugs, while the lugs on the "Edwin" are hinged.  It is possible that this was a design change that did not affect the model name.  It is also possible that the watch in the ad is not showing hinged lugs, as the text does not specify, and, from head-on, the lugs do not appear different, whether hinged or fixed.   Both examples I have are two-toned with an engraved bezel, while the ad for the Edwin shows a plain bezel and gives no indication that the case is two-toned.  I have included the only known ad for the Edwin below for purposes of comparison.  I question whether the dial on this example is original to the watch, as it reflects a slightly later style.
