NOTES: The first ad we have showing this version of the Minute Man is dated 1947. That ad shows an engraved case in yellow gold only. Ads in 1948 and 1949 list pink gold as an option. I have yet to find an ad closer to the date of this watch or one that shows an unengraved bezel.
A very similar case was used for the His Excellency XX in the mid-to-late 1940s, but the two should not be confused, as both the case shape and jewel count differ.
